The Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors supports the credentialing of Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor/Mental Health (LADC/MH).
The CADC requires a Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science/counseling while the LADC requires a Master’s degree in a behavioral science/counseling. In addition, we can provide courses for renewal of either of these credentials. The Oklahoma Board allows individuals to obtain 50% of their hours for these credentials and renewals via online, home-study courses. Custom course packages can be assimilated for any needs.
